U.S. Travel Association needed a campaign to encourage attendees to take a roadtrip to their 2014 convention location. Inspired by the logo colors and map of the host city (Louisville, KY), I created a comprehensive digital and social media design campaign. See it live here.
These logos were created to promote specific theme nights at DC United matches. With the exception of "Night Out", the logos are featured in the DC United colors of red, white and yellow.
The Cato Institute
This infographic was created to show the military sequestration budget cuts in contrast with the military budget during the cold war. Since the Cold War was between the United States and Russia, the theme was heavily inspired by the Russian Constructivist design movement.
The Corporate Executive Board (CEB) requested a cover for their new digital Manual of Style. The creative brief called for a modern and timeless cover that would represent the new style and grammar guidelines inside.
I submitted two options, both incorporating the company color palette. They chose the first cover, preferring the clean and minimal design.
The second option is a modern update on the traditional text-book style book cover.
Profiles of Change
The Profiles of Changes campaign needed a logo that represented education and the many visionaries working to improve America's education system.
Both options we inspired by iconic symbols for teachers and teaching, the No. 2 Pencil and the red apple.
The No. 2 pencil logo was chosen for the campaign, but the team liked the facet design from the first logo so I incorporated that element into the website design.
The Palisades in Washington DC needed a logo for the Palisades Farmers Market held weekly. The color palette and design elements were inspired from the scenery and historic buildings found throughout the Palisades' neighborhoods.
Pioneer Festival Poster
This poster was created for a festival featuring the different cultures within the community.
These illustrated invitations were designed as part of a community outreach campaign.
The workstation design was created to invite local bloggers to a happy hour and the coaster design to invite clients to a celebratory happy hour.
All elements are original illustrations except for the wood panel backgrounds.
Brown Center on Education Policy at Brookings
The US system of federal student aid is badly in need of reform. This infographic highlights recommended changes that can be made.
